My approach and inspiration for my pirate design can be called Captain Jack Sparrow meets Captain Hook. I wanted a pirate look that was sleek fitting, fun and a bit traditional. I also wanted it to be appealing to both men and women.
Under the red velvet coat lined with gold buttons and black velvet trim lays a white swashbuckler shirt with black leather chest belt. The black sash ties the coat together and also gives this pirate a place to hold his Rapier sword. Along the right side of the sash hangs a strand of Caribbean beads. To complement the trim on the coat, black velvet pants. No pirate is complete without his boots. These black leather boots have gold buttons down the sides, and let’s not forget the buckles :)
