Over the years we have seen pirates in movies, games and advertising. I have tried to capture the all around image of the pirate with my design. The costume includes the quintessential bloused shirt, dark silk vest and canvas trousers. The costume is detailed with gold buttons and buckles, a large red sash, and leather belt and straps. The top also includes tattoos and jewelry on the hands. No pirate would be without his weaponry, so a flint lock pistol in the belt and a jewelled dagger at the hip finish it off.
