When faced with this first challenge, my idea was to create an outfit that a pirate captain could feel comfortable wearing every day. What I ended up designing is my vision of what I like to call Pirate Casual Wear. It's comfortable enough to climb a mast, casual but still very well put together and it still projects the wearer as the leader of the pack.
The outfit has clean lines; a crisp white shirt with a deep v-neck to show off a great tan and the pop of color from the sash gives a really nice contrast. The baggier pants give the outfit a more casual relaxed look and plenty of room to move around in. I could envision a dashing pirate wearing this outfit while just spending the day on his ship with his crew or while he sits with them late into the night as they share tales of past exploits.
