My inspiration for the 50’s Challenge was actually the membership. I wanted a 50’s look but also something that the entire membership could identify with. Because the age range is so vast in There, the first thing someone thinks about when they think 50’s is Happy Days and Grease. So I went for the 50’s Letterman look - not everyone was a greaser back then.
My letterman Jacket is blue wool, with white leather sleeves with blue and white trim. His varsity letter is T for what else? There. Under his letterman jacket he wears a blue, white and pink stripe button up shirt under a blue and white argyle sweater. His dark blue cuffed jeans depict the style of jeans worn back then. No 50’s guy is complete without his loafers and white socks, which can be seen peeking from beneath his cuffed blue jeans.
