Is it cool to be a nerd? It is now! I must admit I wasn't around during the fifties, so my only exposure to 50's fashion is from movies and TV. I have always liked the nerds, those poor squares that took all the heat from the cool cats. I thought it would be challenging to do something to commemorate this somewhat outcast character. Introducing: The Nerdy Guy Look.
The nerdy guy look consists of a loud plaid oxford shirt. Since the nerd was usually a smart guy we see he has his pocket protector and a number of favorite pens. The nerdy trousers ride very high up as is usual nerd style and a thin leather belt holds them up there. Top it off with some nerdy glasses and you have The Nerdy Guy Look.
