Puddlefish
The fifties were a wondrous time in American history, rich with styles and fads, many of which are embraced even to this day. I had a difficult time deciding on a design, because there are just so many ways to go. I finally decided to focus my design around the 50’s love affair with Westerns. This was a huge era for the Westerns, both on the big screen and television, and some of the fashions from the era reflected it. I was inspired by the people’s love for the likes of Buffalo Bob Smith and singing cowboy Gene Autry, whose outfits were usually bright and flashy. I created a colorful checkered long-sleeved shirt of western style and a pair of dark pants to complete the set. TA 2025 is also wearing a cowboy hat designed by Phedre, and plain black boots by Paintbrush to complete the look. Thanks to all for this fun challenge!
